Partner site of the First State National Historical Park to host summer 2018 events
Programs on Delaware heroes of the War of 1812, dyeing fabrics 18th-century style, and Separation Day in New Castle to be featured.
Traditionally held in June, Delaware’s 2018 Chautauqua will take place in September.
Event provides visitors with an opportunity to experience seafaring lives of adventure, romance, excitement and hardships, and to honor mariners who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Highlights include Dover Days programs, A Day in Old New Castle and “A Sailor’s Life for Me,” the Zwaanendael Museum’s 7th Annual Maritime Celebration.
Work will begin this spring and continue into the summer of 2018.
