Shortly after 4:30PM on October 15, 2026, District 5 officers responded to the 1700 block of N Euclid ave for a shooting. When they arrived, they located a 16-year-old male on the front porch of a residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Abbott EMS responded and conveyed the 16-year-old to an area hospital where he was listed in critical-unstable condition.
