Fairview Heights, MO (StLouisRestaurantReview) This restaurant concept is the most technologically advanced, using robotic technology to reduce staff and improve the quality of the stir-fry items. We announced their opening on April 20, 2025, and it has been among our most popular articles published. We are as excited as the owner is for them to open this location.
It is an upscale Asian restaurant with a large Sushi, stir-fry, and Ramen menu. Additionally, they offer a sake bar and robotic barrels that perfectly cook the stir-fry.
How does it work?
You go through a line and create your bowl of high-quality vegetables and proteins, placing them in your bowl. You take the bowl to the server, and they ring you on the POS. They will ask you the flavor and spice level and enter it into the POS, and then they toss your bowl into a barrel, add the sauces, spices, and oils, and begin to spin the food cooking it to perfection. When it is done, an arm will pick up a bowl and turn it to the barrel, and the barrel will dump the perfectly prepared meal into the bowl, and the server will pass it to you. It takes only an estimated 90 seconds to cook the meal while providing a technological process.
Not only will this concept fascinate the customers, but it will also help to reduce staff while increasing productivity, which is a huge challenge for restaurants in this new social environment.
The owner is a husband-and-wife team with other restaurants across the Midwest, but this is their first with this concept, and they are open to reconfiguring other locations if it proves successful.
